About the Diocese
The Diocesan office works together as a collaborative team. An emphasis is placed on healthy and robust communication skills within the workplace and each staff member is encouraged to strive for continued professional development.
About the Work
This project will create Episco-Parenting Care Kits that provide parenting support and resources, accessible digital lessons on key tenets of our faith tradition, as well as guidance for modeling Christian practices and demonstrating beliefs to children on a daily basis. These compilations are along the lines of other subscription box models, but with an additional meal component for specific boxes that echo the theme and provide whole-family activities.
Parents will be able to customize their experience by choosing the package topics and tracks by age, family event, or religious practice. Recipients of these kits will be connected to other parents and caregivers through a private online social platform and an annual convening event for families. All kits will be available in both English and Spanish to meet the changing demographic needs of our region and welcome new families into the Episcopal faith tradition.
